Do you ever come up against a block and just can’t think of a tweet or blog content? I have been trying out some different Twitter Applications and the adobe Air based TweetDeck has so far been my favorite.

TweetDeck works on Linux, Windows and Apple systems and installs all files and dependencies needed at the click of a button. With TweetDeck you can update your status on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn all at the same time from multiple accounts using one application. If you are managing multiple accounts this is a very robust and useful tool. It is also a very active project with numerous updates and enhancements.

Using TweetDeck to get great content is easy using the TwitScoop enhancement found under the add column button. Simply press the button then select the menu then click the button. You will be taken back to your TweetDeck and a new column that looks like this will be on your dashboard.

TweetDeck will update the column automatically. In Tweetdeck simply press on the trending word you want to research and you will be taken to the Twitscoop website to view tweets about that topic or maybe just see a list of topics that are currently being discussed will be enough to ignite your creative fire. This is one of the columns I use the most. When I see a trending topic I know something about, have an opinion on or interest in the information people are already talking about is right there in front of me. Watching the trending topics helps give me inspiration for blog posts or Tweets.
